WHERE ARE VOS PRODUCTS HANDCRAFTED?

  • We currently handcraft our products in the suburbs of Guatemala City, specifically in an area called San José Pinula.

HOW DOES VOS ADHERE TO ENVIRONMENTAL AND HUMAN RIGHTS STANDARDS?

  • We do not outsource our handcrafting supply chain but instead employ our own VOS artisans in-house which we call The Soul Crew. We operate under sound labor conditions, pay fair wages, follow local labor standards and source environmental friendly raw materials when applicable. 

ARE VOS PRODUCTS FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED?

  • We have chosen to align our operation with the United Nations Global Compact which is an internationally respected entity that works with business to transform our world, aiming to create a sustainable and inclusive global economy that delivers lasting benefits to all people, communities and markets. WHAT IS THE AFFORD TO CARE SOCIAL INITIATIVE?

  • Afford To Care is an enterprise model that helps others in need with every product or service purchased in a sustainable and ethical manner. Through your purchases, VOS helps provide sustainable jobs to people in need that comprise of the sustainable supply chain, initially commencing in Guatemala, which ethically make the products available to you on the website and in the international marketplace.

WHY IS THE AFFORD TO CARE INITIATIVE FOCUSED ON GUATEMALA INITIALLY?

  • Guatemala is the country where we have initially sourced the sustainable raw materials and the ethical handcrafting that produces the VOS products offered on the website and in the international marketplace. We value the importance of giving back to the under developed communities at the source of the global supply chain. We believe that caring for our counterparts is an initial step towards a better today and tomorrow.

IS VOS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION?

  • VOS is a brand of DeFlores International, which is a for-profit limited liability company with social awareness at its core and who is aligned with the United Nations Global Compact. With the Afford To Care social initiative, VOS allows our valued customers to become responsible and humanitarian global citizens, which enables us to build a sustainable business.

HOW DO I INQUIRE ABOUT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT VOS?

  • We are not currently hiring but VOS is always looking for avid individuals that are hard working. If you share our vision of making a responsible difference in our beautiful world and you hold yourself to the highest of professional standards, we’ll be interested in hearing from you.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

  • VOS accepts Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Pay Pal. You can also easily pay by calling the VOS Support Team at +1 (844) 482-8353 Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (CT).

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

Shipping rates vary depending on the amount of product purchased, where the shipment is going and the type of shipping chosen. Before confirming your purchase please double check your total which will include the shipping charge. Also, please note:

  • USPS Ground deliveries take 2 to 8 business days to be delivered. This depends on where the package is shipping from and shipping to.
  • USPS does not make pick-ups or deliveries on Sunday.
  • USPS 2nd Day Air means delivery 2 business days after it ships, not 48 hours after the order is placed.
  • USPS Next Day Air means delivery the next business day from when it ships.
  • We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or U.S. National Holidays.

DOES VOS SHIP TO P.O. BOXES OR MILITARY APO/FPO ADDRESSES?

  • Yes, we are able to deliver to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses at this time.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING AND HANDLING COST?

  • Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout and will vary depending on the amount of product purchased, where your package is being shipped and the type of shipping chosen.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO BE PROCESSED AND DELIVERED?

  • VOS processes and ships orders everyday Monday – Friday. Expedited orders will ship the following business day and you should allow up to 2 business days for processing of orders placed with ground shipping. The pick-up day from courier does not count as a day in the shipping time. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with all pertinent information.

CAN I CANCEL AN ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

  • In our best effort to get the shipments to our customers as quickly as possible, your order cannot be cancelled or modified once it has been placed.

CAN I ORDER IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES?

  • VOS currently ships online orders anywhere in the world that a U.S. courier has the ability to ship to. International customers are responsible for all shipping, duty and taxes associated with the importation of all merchandise and ALL INTERNATIONAL SALES ARE FINAL.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING AND HANDLING COST ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?

  • Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout. Cost will vary depending on the number of items purchased, where your order is being shipped and the type of shipping chosen. Duty and tax fees will also be applied when your order reaches customs. Please review prices before placing your order.

WHAT IS YOUR EXCHANGES & RETURN POLICY?

  • VOS accepts exchanges and returns within 30 days of online purchase. This is due to the handcrafted nature of your purchase. VOS can only exchange/return unworn product.
  • VOS wants you to be as satisfied as we are with the products therefore, we will guarantee customers to pay for shipping the exchange/return merchandise from the soul-house as long as you pay for the return shipping to get it to us. We will not be liable for any return packages lost in transit therefore we recommend you acquiring a tracking number. Please note we do not accept worn or damaged merchandise for return or exchange. Any product returned in condition other than new will be subject to a $10 restock fee.
  • When shipped, please note the error and the correction requested.

WHICH DEFECTS ARE COVERED?

The following defects are covered by the VOS guarantee when claims are made within the guarantee time on new and unworn products only:

  • Fraying on threads
  • Volcanic soul rocks pulling out of threads

WHICH DEFECTS ARE NOT COVERED?

The following are not covered by the VOS guarantee nor are the above covered when any of the following are prevalent:

  • Fraying of threads due to use or abuse
  • Shrinkage from overexposure to extreme heat
  • Damage caused by negligence, misuse or alteration of products
  • Any problem not listed above will be evaluated on an individual basis by VOS

HOW DO I EXCHANGE OR RETURN MY VOS PRODUCTS?

  • VOS Support Team is readily available to begin the process of your exchange or return at +1 (844) 482-8353 Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (CT) or at support@vosflips.com.
  • Once your return is received and inspected by VOS, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 5 – 10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
  • Your exchange will be processed as quickly as possible upon receipt. Please allow up to 15 business days for processing once the package has reached the fulfillment center. You will receive a confirmation email once processed.
